Galatians 6:7-8, NIV:  Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.

Within a dream, you hold in your hands a bag. Looking into the bag, you see a limited amount of seed. It is all you have, and you know you will not be getting any more. You know you must do something with it, but what? It seems to make sense that you should search for the best soil to plant the seed, so that the seed will grow and produce even more. As you search for the right places, you grow weary, and begin to settle for soils that are not the best. Along the way, you become distracted. Your bag is torn a bit and seed spills out without you knowing. Eventually, you reach into the bag and in a moment of dread, you realize your bag is now empty. Saddened, you sit on a rock and wonder how you could have been more careful. We each are given only so much time. It can be sown into good things, or meaningless. It can produce things that fade, or it can produce things that will be carried into the eternal Kingdom of God.
