Will Power

Hebrews 10:35-37, NIV: So do not throw away your
confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that
when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has
promised. For in just a very little while, "He who is coming will come
and will not delay." God's will...is that your will? He wills that you
will remain confident in Him--that you will
persevere in your efforts to be disciplined in your faith. He wills that you
will receive the rich rewards He holds for those who seek Him. He wills
to be your strength, when you feel you've lost the will to carry on. He wills
to always be your fortress, when you feel your willpower is failing. God says,
"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass
through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk
through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze" (Isa. 43:2). Your will might be weak, but God's
will is to strengthen. Your will might be fragile, but God is always
faithful. "He will be with you. He will not fail you or
forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed" (Dt. 31:8). Where you cannot...God
will.
